You Were Told to Accept the Diagnosis. You Couldn't.
You know something else is going on with your child. You just don't know what tests to ask for, what to feed them, or who to believe. I didn't either, until I found the root cause hiding behind my daughter's autism label.
I Know Exactly Where You Are Right Now
You're spending thousands on ABA, speech therapy, and OT. Your child isn't making the progress they promised you.
You've tried the special diet and supplements you read about online. The sensory tools, weighted blanket and vest. Some of it helps a little. None of it gets to the root cause.
Your pediatrician says, "it's just autism" and tells you to stay the course. Your family thinks you're overreacting. Your friends have stopped inviting you to things because they don't know what to say.
Late at night, after the kids are in bed, you ruminate, stress out and Google. Crying, searching and wondering if you're crazy for believing your child can improve when everyone else has told you to accept it.
You're not crazy or alone, and …your child is in there!
My Daughter Was Nonverbal. Then I Found What No Doctor Was Looking For.
My daughter stopped babbling and responding around age one. From two to four, silence. The doctors said autism. I accepted it and called it my cross to bear.
Then during a season of stillness after a layoff I did not ask for, one small question about a probiotic pulled a thread. It led me to a tick bite she had as a baby, right before the words disappeared. It led me to conditions called PANS and PANDAS. It led me to an integrative doctor who ran the labs nobody had ever ordered.
Her strep antibodies were 13 times the normal limit, a condition called PANDAS. She had an H. pylori infection. She had arsenic at nearly three times the safe level. She had gut inflammation and impaired methylation. None of that is autism. All of it is treatable. And nobody had tested for a single piece of it.
I started a simple protocol. Manuka honey. Clean food. Antihistamines. Detox baths. On day two, Melody looked right at me and said Mama. On purpose. To get my attention.
She is not fully verbal yet. We are still on this road. I am not a doctor. I am a mother who got still, sought God first, and was shown what to look for. And now I am sharing all of it with you.
From Lo-debar to the King's Table
There is a place in the Bible called Lo-debar. In Hebrew it means no word. No pasture. Nothing. It was where the forgotten went to be out of sight.
That is where the world sends our children. The nonverbal ones. The ones grouped with the severe kids because they cannot be tested the usual way. The ones talked over and whispered about and pushed to the side of their own lives.
There was a boy named Mephibosheth, a king's grandson, who was dropped as a child and left crippled and carried off to Lo-debar. The King sent for him. Restored everything his family lost. Sat him at the royal table like one of his own sons. The Bible says he was still lame when he sat down. The seat came before the healing. This blessing was never about his legs or his condition.
I cannot promise you immediate gains or results, my daughter’s healing was a journey. I can tell you this. God is faithful and His word is true! Your child does not have to talk to belong at the table. They can sit there quietly, fully His, fully seen, reaping the benefits of a good Father, exactly as they are. Dignity is not a someday promise. It is a right now reality.
Your child is in there. Your child is His!

Why We Do What We Do
Hi, I'm Twana.
I'm a mother of two. Before I was fighting for my daughter's health, I spent two decades in corporate risk management, trained to investigate data, find what everyone else missed, and build a strategy from it.
When the medical system told me there was nothing more to do, I treated her diagnosis like the biggest case of my life. I traced the timeline. I pulled the labs. I found the root causes hiding behind the label.
I'm not a doctor. I'm a mom who got still enough to hear God and stubborn enough to keep looking. This whole space, the podcast, the guide, the course, exists to hand you what I wish someone had handed me years ago.
